Your friend: “Hey girl, I’m in the neighborhood and thought I’d stop by.”

You: “Oh yeaaa totally come by, would love to see you!”

After you hang up: “Crap! Hey everybody, we gotta clean the house, go go go NOW!!”

Ever notice how you get more cleaning done in the 10 minutes before someone’s about to come over than you do in the entire week? This used to be me. In fact, I used to say that having guests was the best excuse to clean the house.

But in reality, having a clean home is just good for the mind and the soul. I’m not saying you have to be some Martha Stewart or anything, shoot. you’ve got kids! I have wholeheartedly embraced that there will be messes most days of the week.

But, you can absolutely avoid the household hustle! In today’s episode of BizMomTV I talk about how to make sure you always have a clean house, plus some cool apps to keep your cleaning schedule front and center!

How do you keep your house in order? Do you enlist the help of your husband? Got a chore chart for the kids? Or do you do it all yourself? Leave a note in the comments below and let us know what you think about the household hustle!

Oh good JoAnne! It was a game-changer for me for sure. The thing I found most helpful though was to bring my husband in on my project management app. He now has the app on his phone and I never have to “nag” him about what needs to be done 🙂
