Silence your inner quitter.

I’m fairly certain that every mom entrepreneur has felt like quitting their business at some point. So, let me be the first to tell you, you are NOT alone. This is absolutely normal. I mean, let’s face it, if you haven’t felt like quitting at some point, you probably weren’t working hard enough! Since everybody feels like that, it’s whether or not you act on that feeling that sets the committed apart from the dreamers. Your thoughts create your reality and so I want to give you some tips today on how you can actually get out of the mindset of wanting to quit. Quitting just isn't an option for us BizMoms. We may pivot, we may change directions, hell we might even have a Plan B, but we don’t give up.

Lots of people focus heavily on their vision board. A vision for what they are trying to manifest. I'm all for vision boarding, but in the video above I talk about something that I've found to be much stronger in terms of motivation and actual proof that I CAN DO ANYTHING!

Now, obviously as the Founder of BizMomLife and the creator of the BizMomClub - our international mastermind community of stay-at-home mom entrepreneurs - I'm a little bias towards this tip. But quite honestly, joining a community of highly-successful entrepreneurs is exactly the thing that changed my entire business and life. Had I not done that, I'm not sure I'd be where I am today. Being in a community where everyone is working towards something great, where everyone is rooting for you as well, where everyone comes together regularly and celebrates each other's wins, it's almost inevitable that you will ride the waves of their success as well.

When looking for a community to join, I highly suggest finding a paid one. I've been a part of several free communities and several paid communities. The paid ones are infinitely better in terms of the content being shared, the connections being made and the caliber of members. Not to say there aren't some great free groups out there, but in my experience, finding yourself a paid group will give you a higher return on your time investment in comparison to a free group.

Your family and friends can either be a wonderful source of support or a terrible drain on your entrepreneurial energy. It's your job however to let them know what you need from them. In the video above, I talk about a couple things you should communicate to those around you in order to get the support you need.

After watching today's episode, leave a comment below and let me know if you've ever felt like quitting in your business. If you did, what did you do about it? If you haven't felt like quitting, what is it that keeps you going? Be sure to come on in to our Free Facebook Group - Simple Success for Mom Entrepreneurs so we can connect further!
